There was a time when I plodded through travel arrangements, taking notes, calling travel agents, and driving across town to pick up tickets.

No more. I have discovered the Internet and have become an efficient traveler.

For instance, last year my cousin called and invited me to go to London with her and asked me to book the flight, hotel, and cars. No problem. I jumped on the Internet, pulled up several of my favorite travel sites, and compared prices.

Within minutes I was able to check the cheapest hotel rates, book rooms, arrange electronic tickets, and rent cars for each leg of our trip.

The only thing the Internet didn’t do was pack our bags; but I’m even pretty good at that.
