I have two reasons to learn Spanish. The first of which is that it is a requirement for my major in college. I have to choose a foreign language, and I have to take three semesters of it. I attend college at a branch campus. They offer three different foreign languages at the main campus, but Spanish is the only foreign language that is offered at the branch campus that I attend. I am in nursing school. I may encounter Spanish speaking people once I start to work in a hospital or a doctor’s office. Being able to speak Spanish would help me to communicate with them.
