Years ago I started to buy some gold as I had a friend, Larry, who worked in a big family owned coin shop. He had convinced me that buying gold would pay off one day. Once a week I would buy some gold. It was usually in very small quantities;however occasionally I would splurge on getting more than I probably should have. Years later I had actually amassed quite a bit of gold bullion. At one point I used it as collateral as for a loan that I used to buy a piece of land. Saving with gold was a smart decision for me and I willl keep doing it.
