Much hype surrounding the use of toys as learning vehicles for our children, has proliferated from the toy manufacturers, in the hope it will guilt us into buying their so called educational toys for our budding geniuses. For one, i’d rather have a toy or doll just for its own merit, like musical teddy bears. Is all this pre school education actually making any more educated school leavers, or indeed shortening our unemployment lists? The truth of the matter is, this is just pr from the mega mania toy industry.
