How do I begin crate training puppies? I am getting a puppy this weekend. I have already purchased a crate for him, but I am unsure as to how to use it. I know that I am supposed to put him in it to sleep at night, and I also know that I am supposed to put him in it when I am working or not at home. But, when I am home, when should I put him in the crate? Should I keep him in it at all times, except for when he is outside?
