Have you ever heard of the Australian Shepherd dog?  This is a great animal and can make a great pet if you find one that is more submissive than any of the others.  They are really great because they are such smart animals.  You should certainly be aware that they do get quite large and can be a lot to handle if you aren’t prepared for it.  They can grow to be quite large, so unless you want a large pet, you may want to get a much smaller type of pet for you to enjoy.
