Sometimes, I notice that the gifts we give others are more about what’s important to us than to the receiver of the gift. It’s not so easy to focus on another person and decide what they would really enjoy. My mother is very reserved and quiet. She doesn’t have a lot of things, and much of what she has is quite old. So, what kind of mothers day gift ideas are appropriate for her ?

My mother is in her 70’s now and she is not as agile as she used to be. I remembered that she loved to take long baths. She hasn’t done this in quite a while. I have decided to get her a bathtub that she can walk into and close the door behind her. I have paid for the tub and found a local plummer who would install it for her. I also purchased a specialty basket that has all of the “fru fru” kind of things in it that are fun for bathtub experiences. I really think that she will enjoy this.
