I’ve been in the new home construction business for many years (nearly 17 to be exact).

In that time, I’ve never seen an economic downturn either the size or longevity of the one we’re now facing.

If there’s good news to be found, it’s in the area of real-estate investing for the long-term.

Just recently, for example, some business partners and I purchased a group of newly-built homes at a real bargain price.

The builder got out from under his commitment and our group planned on reselling at a profit in the future.

All the properties were finished on the inside, but outdoors, needed work.

But finding a landscaper in my town is not that difficult.
