In the United States, it is legal to brew your own wine and beer in all 50 states except for Arkansas and Utah. However, you must keep certain limits in mind. For the most part, you can brew up to 100 gallons of beer, ale, or wine per adult in each household. There is a cap of 200 gallons per household per year of wine, beer, or ale regardless of the number of adults living in one household. Also, since the legal drinking age in the United States is 21 years of age, minors are not permitted to Home Brew. They also can not legally assist in the home brewing process.
