We had a lovely night last night — we invited several friends over for supper and tried a new shrimp pasta recipe. It was fabulous. While the noodles were cooking, we sauteed a little minced garlic. Then we stirred in a cup of cream, but didn’t let it boil. Finally we stirred in some cooked shrimp and a few of our favorite herbs — I like basil, thyme, oregano, all those Italian-ish things. When it was heated through, we tossed the shrimp with the noodles and had a fabulous main dish. We served it with a big green salad and a nice white wine, and of course something chocolate for dessert. My favorite are truffles. Yum.
