As a collector of antiques I love to search out and find special pieces of furniture with history behind them. It is always a pleasure to spend a Saturday going to antique stores and speaking with the owners. There are some great treasures out there. My husband loves to reupholster the cushions on the antique chairs and sofas. Generally, we fix up the pieces and sell them to other antique buyers. The style and the history are unique to each piece and we have found by refurbishing them that they all have a story to tell. Markings on the legs or arms tell us a bit about the previous owners.
