Life after prostate cancer treatment might seem a bit rough with many worries and concerns. There are a number of things you should avoid doing in the first three months during recovery.

1. Colds & Flues

First thing you should avoid is catching a cold; stay away from those with colds and flues. Coughing and sneezing can cause extreme discomfort in the first three months.

2. Stand Up Comedies & Sitcoms

This might seem like an odd request, but laughing so hard can bring you excruciating pains. You can always use a pillow to soften the laughing effect; keep near you at all times.

3. Drinking and Drugs

Not that you should during the normal days, but getting intoxicated during your recovery will definitely send your efforts down the drain.

Life after prostate cancer treatment isn’t the nightmare many think it is. One should be careful the first three months and everything will be just fine.
