If you can’t understand what they are saying, get some lyrics.

Arts No Comments »

In a lot of music styles these days have singers that either like to yell their music or their pronunciation of the words just don’t come across very well. There are all sorts of music lyrics including country music lyrics that one can get in order to find out what the exact words of the song are. Probably 99% of hearing country songs, you will not need the music lyrics because country music singers seem to have more control with the way they sing their words then other music venues such as hard rock, rock, and pop music. There are just some songs that you have no clue what they are saying.

Changing Careers to Become a Professional Artist

I’m putting my shingle out: watercolor paintings for sale! I’m retiring after 25 years in the advertising industry, and not a bit too soon! I had a good run at it and was quite successful. But I’m sick of the stressful deadlines and long hours. I saved as much money as I could and now I am going to head of into a new career‑ professional artiste. I’ve managed to join 3 quality galleries around the state of Michigan. I’ve set up a very good, search engine-sound website and have even embarked on a daily blogging regime. All of the pieces are in place. Now, I just have to paint well enough to pull the whole thing off!

Viewing NBC reality TV shows

Arts No Comments »

It used to be only celebrities were on TV and that was all we TV viewers wanted to see. NBC reality TV shows have really changed all that and more. Now as a TV viewer I am interested in following the average guy or girl who has landed a coveted spot on one of their reality TV shows. Whether it is the Biggest Loser or The Apprentice, the NBC network works hard to develop programing that follows topics of interest with an interesting array of characters. In many cases they will mix a celebrity or two with people off the street and this makes for the most fun television.

Showing Him Her Heart

Arts No Comments »

My neighbor Ken is one of the most romantic men I know and likes to make grand gestures which show his wife how much he loves her.

For twenty years his wife has quietly and privately acknowledged all of the flowers, trips, and even the pictures of her he has had tattooed on his arm, back, and shoulder.

But this year Ken’s wife made a romantic gesture of her own at their anniversary party.

She was wearing a sundress with a wrap and, when she took off the wrap and turned around, there were two beautiful, delicate little heart tattoos on her shoulder - with his name underneath.

This year Ken’s wife showed him her heart, in a very public way.

London Dancing Schools With Famous Dancers

Many London dancing schools have teachers on their staff who are working dancers, many who are the top of their field. They may not be full-time teachers at the school, often they are visiting teachers.

This approach to bringing in professionals to teach is a great way to learn. Many times teaching staff will also include working choreographers. In addition to the quality of the teaching the students also benefit because they can show the choreographers what they can do and work with them in future if they impress.

If you want to learn the best way, learn from the best in their field, learn it their way and you can reach the top as well.

Quick Dancing Tips

Arts No Comments »

I got this quick dancing tip which is one of the best dancing tips I’ve ever received. It focusses around your own feet and in particular the distance between them.

Most people when they learn a dance move spend a lot of time focussing on the move and how to execute it. This is at the expense of the feet. The distance between the feet is very important.

Ever since I’ve received this tip I’ve been watching people dance whenever I’m in a club and looking at the distance between their feet. And my friend was right. If they’re too far apart it looks weird, if they’re glued together like honey the whole time it doesn’t look right either.

Something to remember any time you’re dancing or picking up a cool new step.

From owner to player

The world seems to be filled with guitar owners. Most will have a guitar lesson or two and then drop by the wayside because they just will not take the time to practise on their instrument. With this new method you can practise a few minutes or a lot and make the time count. The excuse of not having enough time is no longer valid. When you walk by your guitar now, just pick it up and go through the quick and easy steps and in almost no time at all you and your friends will start to notice a change in your ability.
