Out of all of my friends, I was the last to get married. It wasn’t that I did not want to get married, it was that it took me a little longer to meet the right person to marry. We had a simple wedding ceremony, but we spent a lot of money on our wedding reception. One detail that made our wedding reception extra special was a string quartet. My fiancee suggested that we hire one to play at the reception as she had seen them play at several other events. I was unsure, but I trusted her judgement. It was the right choice. The music they played made our event extra special.

Is this a statement on how the workers are exploited for the comfort of the upper classes?

One of the first fights my husband and I had after we were married was over his Marilyn Monroe poster.  A week before our wedding we had moved our furniture into our new apartment.  Little by little that week, things came together in the two bedroom apartment.  There were just a few big boxes to unpack which we decided to do when we got home from our honeymoon.  One of the first boxes we unpacked after we came home was a box of my husband’s things.  When he pulled out the big poster of the blond bombshell, I laughed and said “You won’t be needing that anymore.”  He said “Excuse me?  I’ve had this since I was 14 years old and I”m keeping it!”  After a very heated argument, he ended up hanging it in the spare bedroom which became the “office.”  He still has it after all these years, but it hangs in the garage. 

You would think there would be enough free clip art in the world and that no one would need to create any more. But when you see the type of free images floating around on the Internet; it’s obvious there’s always room for more and better sources. Many of the images available today are amateurish and are only suitable for low resolution use on the web. Because of that they don’t provide much benefit to designers and crafters who require higher quality images so they can produce images for clients or products for sale at craft fairs, church bazaars or online.

Are there different areas that it doesn’t hurt as bad to get a tattoo? My tattoo on my arm definitely hurt. Some say there are certain spots that sting more then others. Some people are starting to get them on the face I can’t even imagine how much thats has to sting. Lil’ Wayne has tattoos on his eye lids, thats pretty ridiculous it seems that tattoos are slowly becoming more and more common. Many of the A-listers are getting more tattoos,in my opinion probably has a lot to do with why more people are getting them. What do you all think? I’m inquiring to see if anybody else is seeing more tattoos too.

For our music class, we are asked to think of an instrument which we could play in front of our classmates. I am a bit disturbed with the idea because I don’t know if still the skills in playing the violin have. I have a summer class with that and all I have to do is practice some more.This is the day for our musical performance. Joey is the first person to show his talents with playing instruments. Yes, Joey would be playing some of his Chinese instruments in the class. It seems that he was so good at it already that the melody sounds good. The whole class was so overwhelmed with Joey’s performance.

If you have interest in the culture and artifacts of the Native Americans from the Northeast then you will want to visit the Abenaki Tribal Museum in the community to Swanton, Vermont.  The actual artifacts along with the reproductions of their lives will tell the story of the tribe from thousands of years ago to the present day.Enjoy watching the Pow Wow held in May over Memorial Day Weekend when the dancing adds to the cultural life of the tribe.  Here spectators are invited to participate in one of the dances and watch the rest.  The colorful, beaded outfits of the tribal members will dazzle your eyes and make you wish you could do the handiwork their cloths display.This area of Northeast Vermont is the home of the tribe but their ancestral home is between here and Quebec, Canada lands.  Long before the settlers moved to this area the Native Americans made their home here.  It is well worth a visit to the area if you have an interest in the history of not only our country but the Native American lifetime before the settlers moved in.
