We just bought our house recently, and since then the interest rates have been falling, and now they are a lot lower than when we bought our house. Is there a certain amount of time you need to wait after you buy a house before you refinance? I don’t know much about mortgage refinancing rules (if there are such things). My sister in law was saying that their mortgage guy had said to check back with him in six months to see about refinancing, but do we have to wait that long? Who knows what will happen to the rates in six months.
