Time management tips: Allocate time carefully

To truly get the most from your day you need to have a clear idea of how you are going to spend each hour. For these time management tips to work, what you need to do is to write down everything you need to do in the day ahead and allocate a specific time for each task. Just five or ten minutes should be enough for you to make your time plan and it is an excellent time investment. Write down all meetings and other tasks that have to be seen to at a certain time. Then you can slot the other things you need to do, both at work and at home, into the available time left. Divide your work time into blocks that suit your own attention span. Do this each day and you will have taken a big step towards managing your time effectively.
