When my older sister gave birth to her daughter, I was in awe of how hard the nurses worked to help deliver her baby. They were so confident and caring, and they seemed to enjoy their jobs. I asked one of them how I could look into rn careers, and she told me that there are plenty of colleges that offer nursing programs. I applied at one and got in, and I have since graduated from nursing school. My job as a labor and delivery nurse is wonderful! I get to help bring new life into the world, and since women will always have babies, I know I have a great career ahead of me.
