I find the used part, and have a local mechanic replace it. I know that sometimes you do require a specialist that is familiar with all of the electronic or computerized mechanisms on modern cars today, but cheap used auto parts certainly are worth checking into before you plunk down your hard earned cash. I don’t know about you, but I work very hard for my money and am reluctant to part with any more than I absolutely have to for car repair.Most salvage yards today will have warranties that they offer with their larger items such as transmissions, motors and other more expensive car components, at no extra cost, which is a definite advantage.
