If you thought that renting a car was a pain, you’re not entirely correct.  Sure, there are things that can go wrong, but for the most part, nothing should.  If you go to a reputable car rental office, things should go very smoothly, in fact.  We’ve all heard the horror stories about people who have had horrible experiences while renting a car.  You have to take into consideration that it may not entirely be the car rental company’s fault.  After all, did the person read through the rental agreement and fully understand everything that was in it?  That’s one of the most common mistakes that people make.  No one ever takes the time to read through the agreement.  It seems like the rental agreement is just there to be there.  If you do your research ahead of time and know who you are going to rent from, you can actually request that a copy of the agreement be sent to you.  Now, that’s smart thinking!
